I've been receiving medical care from here for years and admire their professionalism and quality of care. There are three buildings, a surface parking lot, underground parking and a parking structure. This facility can get fairly crowded, so having all the parking is greatly appreciated. My Primary Care Physician, Dr. Albert Wang is here and I've been his patient for years and continue to receive excellent care. Over the years I've used their lab for blood and urine tests and radiology department for x-rays. I also come here for flu and other vaccinations as needed. I've also met with Dr. Halligan in Orthopedics regarding a problem I'm having with one of my knees. The staff are very polite and helpful and take the time to ensure your experience is a good one. Kudos to them for navigating thru this pandemic in a professional and humanistic approach.Hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM Phone:+15104901222 Address: 3200 Kearney St 1st Floor, Fremont, CA 94538, United States

Fremont Urgent Care

This is a review of Dr. John Giddens at Fremont Urgent Care. I'd like to preface this by stating that I've never been very fond of doctors, am very skeptical of big pharma, and have always tried holistic/ alternative methods first whenever struck with ailments. After suffering a slip and fall at work back in April and treating severe back pain myself through eastern medicine without much avail (my employer refused to file a Workman's Compensation claim stating that his insurance rates would increase and that I would be inconvenienced with people monitoring my every move, etc.) I returned to work after 2 months of recovery, mainly because I was broke. I was working through the pain to the best of my abilities. (I was a bartender and tequila helped immensely!) I subsequently fainted from exhaustion at work the following October and my back pain returned with a vengeance. I then asked my employer file a Workman's Comp claim so that I could seek legitimate help from real doctors. He knew I didn't have health insurance and his initial reluctance to assist me at the onset of my injury was quelled by my demands. His insurance company contacted me and I was able to choose a facility close to home. I got very lucky with Dr. John Giddens as he was selected to be the primary physician assigned to my case. He singlehandedly changed my perspective on doctors. His intelligent yet laid back demeanor is so respectable and calming. He is thorough, compassionate, efficient and explanatory. He's been a doctor for over 4 decades which, with that amount of impressive tenure, could easily go to one's head, yet he's humble and devoted to his profession. I always pegged doctors as middlemen to the pharmaceutical industry; pill-pushers dispensing whatever they feel might mask an illness while meeting their fill quotas. Dr. Giddens broke that stereotype. He showed me that being a doctor isn't just about seeing patients and offering typical treatments, repeat, repeat, etc. He actually looks at every unique case, computes his hypotheses through examination, and tailors treatment modified to a person's particular physiology. It's really impressive. If Dr. Jane Crusher and Data from Star Trek The Next Generation had a baby, it would be Dr. Giddens. He's very good at what he does, and I should know. I'm a very difficult patient! I have tested his patience as an impatient patient plenty, yet he's always stayed kind, informative and even-keel. You'll be in good hands with Dr. Giddens. He's also been voted Best Doctor of Fremont a few times so I'm not alone in this assessment.Hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 8PM Saturday, 9AM to 5PM Phone:+15107961000 Address: 3161 Walnut Ave, Fremont, CA 94538, United States Website: Fremont Urgent Care
