Stumbled upon Erika's vintage jewelry boutique "Hunted" last night on our way back to the car from Tsunami Sushi.  Erika's shop is in a tiny alley on Divis between 2 buildings and is an incredibly intimate.  Hunted is full of beautiful, fun, sparkly pieces. I left with a gorgeous gold bracelet and will return soon to purchase more (saw several pieces I would have loved to have bought)!  My boyfriend and I really enjoyed chatting with Erika. She was warm, friendly, and very helpful.  If you haven't been to Hunted, you must check it out.

Not sure what's with all these salty tourists and locals. . . this antique boutique is amazing! Continuing my vacation in the Bay Area, I had stopped into this planned stop and made an immediate beeline to the 1920s, 1950s clothing. The sales attendant, a petite Hispanic girl was super friendly and helpful in letting me hold things at the register while I decided. Upon noticing how serious I was in finding dresses from these decades, she and her coworker, a short haired Asian guy let me into the exclusive back room. I loved gently admiring the religious costumes, the fraying late 1870s-1880s Victorian blouses, and more! Never had the chance to shop alone in the VIP area, so thank you! Ended up leaving with two things from the exclusive back room: a 1880s white handmade lace blouse and a 1940s bridal dress with the sash found by the attendant. And since I don't live in the area, I also bought the 1920s eggshell slip dress. Advice: No photos is disappointing, but obey the signs posted. Be extra gentle with the clothing, its all irreplacable given that time machines are not commercially available. Don't bring pets or young children here, they're bound to damage parts of history. Stop being so salty about the prices: $175 is more than reasonable for a dress from 60+ years ago in mint condition. Keep an open mind and don't be afraid to ask questions (^_^)
