Dr. Zee and his team are absolutely wonderful. I read up on several pediatric dentist before I finally chose Dr. Zee and it was worth it. The practice is so welcoming for kids and they know exactly how to work with them. Dr. Zee was patient with me when I asked several questions regarding my child's dental/surgical procedure. He will even schedule phone conferences to answer any more follow up questions and concerns. He's honest and keeps the child's well being as his main priority. He even called several hours after my child's procedure to check on how he was feeling. I knew my insurance wasn't going to cover the cost from this practice but after meeting with Dr. Zee I felt like I couldn't find someone that I would feel more comfortable with and that was very qualified to work on my child. The facility was very clean and well organized which further demonstrates how dedicated they are to providing optimal health care.

I have dental coverage but the places that are in network are not good. I don't mind paying out of pocket for my children's routine dental needs if the care is good. Sunshine Pediatric Dentistry has very reasonable out of pocket rates AND the staff is awesome. I've been taking my 3 year old here since she was a year old and now I'm also taking my 10 month old son. All of the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The dentists are all very patient and gentle, they really know how to connect with the kids in a way that makes the experience less scary. For kids, going to the dentist can be a traumatizing experience. Let's face it, going to the dentist is never fun. At Sunshine Pediatric Dentistry they make the experience so much easier. I really appreciate the gentle yet thorough care that they provide. The interior of the building is very kid friendly. Prior to Covid, the lobby was a fun area for the kids. It's blocked off but you can still see the fun slide and the giant teeth with the ginormous toothbrush that the kids used to play with. These days they have us wait in the comfort of our vehicle until it's our turn as a Covid safety precaution. At least they have the TV screens at each patient chair, having a kids movie on definitely takes the edge off and gives the little ones something to take their mind off of what is being done. It's cute how they give a little token after the visit that can be used at their little surprise egg dispenser on the way out. I highly recommend Sunshine Pediatric Dentistry for the little ones. I really wish that my childhood dentist office was as awesome as this one.

I have taken my kids here for years.  I was skeptical at first since we always saw Dr. Lyles and she retired, but I was pleasantly surprised.  There were a few familiar faces that were as friendly as usual and many new faces that were just as friendly. The new doctor we saw was fabulous and my kids left with smiles.  They also do a lot of fun stuff for the kids now and they have tablets so they can watch movies while getting their teeth cleaned.   We loved Dr. Lyles and we love it with the new owners too.  I highly recommend Safari!

I battle with anxiety, so going out in public especially to an office with my daughter is always a drag for me, but this place is so easy for me to come to, and you NEVER wait more than 10 minutes! Highly would recommend! They also have a no cavity team for the kids, they get their picture taken and posted on the wall as a reward for keeping up with their teeth! Awesome place.

My wife and I have been taking our kids to see Dr. de la Garza for over 14 years. We would not ever consider seeing anyone else. He and his staff are always courteous, friendly, pleasant, and professional. As a matter of fact, our kids look forward to their dentist visits. They love his sense of humor and the cheerful staff. Recently, one of our sons complained about a toothache after school. The office was able to see him the following day and diagnosed him with an abscess. They scheduled a tooth extraction as soon as possible to help relieve his pain and to prevent any further infection. I had anxiety going into the procedure and I was not the one seeing the dentist. Dr. de la Garza thoroughly explained the procedure he was going to perform in order to help put my mind at ease. The procedure was a great success and my son feels 100% better.
