SOO OUK KIM, L.AC
Andrew (Soo Ouk) Kim is a licensed acupuncturist certified by NCCAOM.
He is from Korea and has been practicing acupuncture since 2012.
When he was in Los Angeles, he developed a specialty in pain control with energy channel relaxation, and then he became more skillful with the application of a muscular motion approach. Chronic neck pain, shoulder pain, low back pain, knee pain, and sciatica were treated in a very efficient way by acupuncture treatment along with patient education.
Later he began practice in the DC metro area and found that the majority of clients suffered from stress-causing chronic stiffness, nutritional imbalance, or emotional disorders. Through the integrative experiences, he decided to inform the traditional eastern understanding of the body.
Many international clients enjoyed sharing their knowledge about their traditional ways of stress relief compared with energy meridian theories. Also, they enjoyed reviewing the lessons from other treatments with his explanation of the muscle/energy complex approach. Some people liked to hear about natural herbs and recent medical studies.
Since then it became his primary goal to guide people in a comprehensive way by combining eastern wisdom and western medical knowledge, which would be like such Yin and Yang combination in harmony.
