Never have I ever...wanted to hurt so badly lol.  This was, by far, the most professional, acute massage I've had...by far. What made my experience here different from the other places?  Despite what I "thought" I wanted, which was a Swedish and Thai, Victor assessed what I needed, which was a deep tissue and Thai, and was very deliberate in his movements, very methodical and precise in targeted where my knots were and was very knowledgeable about how all the muscles connected. So I've had massages where my knots were "rubbed" out and all but Victor didn't rush for time.  The movements had immediate results.  I was loosing up after he worked every body part. It was uncomfortable but I definitely realized how this is imperative to my health.  We worked out a game plan and I'll be back for it again!

I had received a gift certificate for a prenatal massage here for Christmas. I booked online using the coupon code given in the email very easily! You can see which massage therapists are available and at what times. I booked my prenatal massage with Jahne. I received an email with a personal intake form, which I filled out easily online. I had also received a reminder email and text before my appointment which was nice! Now to my appointment with Jahne. When I walked in, I was greeted and asked if I needed to use the restroom which being almost 35 weeks pregnant, I did. When I came out of the restroom, I was greeted by Jahne who was setting up my room (I had shown up early!). She went ahead and had me sit down and asked me questions while she was setting up. Asked me where my pain was, how she wanted me to handle it, the position of the baby to see what spots we could massage and if I'd like if she used hot towels on my feet. She explained how she wanted me to lay down and let me know we'd be changing sides halfway through (I had a giant body pillow, head pillow and pillows for my ankles to ensure my back and hips were aligned while laying on my side). She then stepped outside of the room and let me change out of my clothes. She came in and we chatted for a little bit and then she started the massage. She asked me how the pressure was and let me relax. It felt amazing getting the knots out of my shoulders and she then worked on my hips a little since I'm having pelvic and hip pain due to the pregnancy which she said my hips were tight. She then moved onto my leg and feet and then up to my arm and hands. Then she had my flip onto my other side and repeated the massage. She waited until I spoke to reply, but when she did she was a great conversationalist, which I prefer because it takes my mind off the pain of working out the knots! But it's nice that she also gives you time to relax with quiet if you like. When she was done, she said she would step out and let me get dressed and to take as long as I needed. I met her outside the door, she re-introduced herself to ensure I knew her name and I checked out. Jahne was so sweet and her hands worked some magic!! Highly recommend her!
